The story of my depression and the guy who almost killed me As I write these words I feel a glimpse of sorrow and then the touch of joy. I have returned! I am no longer the ghost he made me. I no longer have to be ashamed of my thoughts, my needs, my dreams. He had gotten into my head and destroyed everything. Not suddenly, not obviously. But so slow and sure that I had blamed my own mind for so long. I had been dependent of him. Me! I have never been dependent of anyone or anything! I used to like being myself and being with myself. I used to walk or run or even just lie for hours in my own company. Thinking, reflecting and dreaming. I was
